Scientific Programme

The aim of this workshop is to bring together scientists from the UK and from different countries in Latin America to exchange knowledge in Liquid Argon software, Advanced Computing and Deep Learning techniques, and to build collaborations in the context of the DUNE neutrino experiment. The workshop will consist of three days with lectures/talks followed by hands-on practice sessions, in which it will be covered: i) introduction to basic software tools to be used in Liquid Argon experiments (LArSoft); ii) Pandora multi-algorithm pattern-recognition (developed at Cambridge University) and reconstruction tutorial; and iii) Deep Learning approaches; and their applications to DUNE. Instructions and zoom connection to follow the workshop remotely will be provided.
