There is the two years old BaBar's hint of the disagreement with the Standard Model predictions for the branching ratios in the decays $B \to D^{(*)} \tau \nu$. We study, in the model independent way, the angular distributions that could reveal the effects which are not seen in the total decay rates. We also note some of the possible implications of the the BaBar's puzzle for the particular New Physics models.
