ERDIT meeting in Pisa

chaired by Cinzia Da Via (The University of Manchester), Alberto Del Guerra (INFN), Christer Frojdh (MIUN)
from to (Europe/London)
at Pisa INFN ( Room 131 )
Description The platform ERDIT (www.erdit.eu) was established as a bottom up initiative to coordinate at European level the use, development and application of detectors and electronics in the various field from HEP to Homeland Security to Medical Physics and more.

The scope is to reach a consensus among the various groups in Europe to stimulate the European Funding System on the necessity of issuing specific calls within Horizon 2020 program on this topic. A similar initiative has been also established (www.attract-eu.org) with a much more ambitious program, such as the set up of an infrastructure to support the EU in the preparation of specific calls.

The aim of this meeting is to agree on the future radiation detector and imaging technologies road-map amongst EU scientists and industrial partners.
