Wolfgang Gradl: Recent highlights from the BESIII experiment

Friday, 20 April 2018 from to (Europe/London)
at Schuster ( 54-6-6.40 - Niels Bohr Common Room )
Description
The BESIII experiment at the Institute for High Energy Physics (IHEP) in
Beijing has been collecting e+e- collision data since 2009 at
centre-of-mass energies ranging from 2 to 4.6 GeV. The physics
programme comprises the study of light hadronic states, charmonia and
charmonium-like states, and physics with particles carrying open charm.
In this talk I will review some of the more recent highlights of the
experiment.
